Can Mycrene act as an anti-inflammatory agent?

Myrcene is a terpene that is found in high concentrations in mangoes, hops, lemongrass, and thyme. This terpene has a musky, earthy smell and in addition to its sedative effects, myrcene is also said to be an anti-inflammatory agent and might be an effective treatment for conditions like arthritis and Crohn’s disease. Although human studies are underway, Myrcene's health benefits are already showing up in animal studies.
